This policy explains the browser storage and similar technologies used by Sheet Metal Music Limited, company number 01886705, trading as We-Link Studios.

Strictly necessary storage

We store your cookie choices in your browser under welink:cookie-consent:v1. This records which categories you chose and when you chose them. It is necessary to remember and apply your decision and remains until you clear site data or replace the choice.

If your visit includes advertising identifiers or campaign parameters, the site keeps gclid, gbraid, wbraid and UTM source, medium, campaign, term and content values in session storage. They remain for the browser session and may be attached to an enquiry so we can understand its source. This capture does not itself set an advertising cookie.

Google Ads and Consent Mode v2

We use the Google tag for Google Ads account AW-18449789855. On ordinary public pages, Consent Mode v2 starts with ad_storage, analytics_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization denied unless your saved choice grants the relevant category.

Before consent, Google may receive limited, cookieless page and consent signals, but advertising and analytics storage remain denied. If you consent to marketing or analytics, the corresponding consent signals are updated and Google may use cookies or similar identifiers for measurement and advertising in line with your choice. A successful viewing enquiry may send a conversion event with the saved enquiry reference as a transaction ID; no name, email address or phone number is included in that conversion event.

The dedicated viewing-request confirmation page does not initialise the Google tag or send a page view. Google controls the exact duration of any Google cookies set after consent; its published cookie information gives the applicable duration and purpose.

Preference categories

Essential: always active, including storage needed to remember your consent and support secure sign-in where applicable.
Analytics: permits analytics storage used to understand website use.
Marketing: permits advertising storage, user-data and personalisation signals used for campaign measurement.
Functional: permits optional storage used to remember site preferences.

Google Maps is linked as an external destination; it is not embedded on this website. The same applies to our outbound WhatsApp and Instagram links. Those services apply their own cookie and privacy practices after you follow a link.

How to control cookies
